According to our WiFi adapter expert
Features Wireless AC with a WiFi speed of up to 433Mbps.
WiFi standard AC is up to 3 times faster than WiFi standard N.
Plug the adapter into your laptop or PC and press the WPS button to receive the WiFi signal.
The adapter doesn't have a fast USB 3.0 connector.
With the TP-Link Archer T2U WiFi adapter, you can connect a PC or laptop to the wireless network with just 1 press of a button. The T2U achieves the highest speeds in combination with a router that has WiFi AC. Improve the WiFi reception of your WiFi standard N laptop to the 3 times faster AC standard, with this WiFi adapter from the Archer series.

I have a 200 Mbps line with Telenet. With this dongle I easily get 192 Mbps. I use it on my desktop computer about 5 meters from the WiFi enabled modem from Telenet (very recent model). I use Windows 10 and could just plug in the dongle, select my WiFi network, type in the password and go, I was connected to the internet. Very user-friendly. I didn't need the included software at all.

Tried to deploy on Windows 8.1 in combination with 5Ghz WLAN. After restarting the computer there was often no connection, only removing and reconnecting the stick fixes it (this with the latest version drivers from the website). It is not possible to connect to 5Ghz with the Windows supplied drivers (network is not even found). Now switched to Netgear WND3100 and everything runs without problems. So can't recommend this stick.
