I use the hedge trimmer for a high beech hedge and a privet hedge. The hedge trimmer effortlessly cuts the branches and does not falter anywhere. I had trimmed everything in half an hour and didn't feel like the battery was already running out. A powerful device that does exactly what you buy it for. I'm very content. I can't judge durability because I've only had it for two weeks, but the device looks solid.

Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our hedge trimmer expert
With the included battery, you can get started right away.
You can also use the included battery for other 18V tools for the same battery platform.
With a low 2.6kg weight, you can comfortably keep working for a long time.
Without a rotatable handle, it's harder to prune in difficult angles.
With the BLACK+DECKER GTC1845L20-QW, you can also reach the back of your garden without the hassle of extension cords. This cordless hedge trimmer runs on a powerful 18V 2.0Ah Li-ion battery. Its 45cm bar length and 18mm cutting width make the GTC1845L20 suitable for small hedges. Since you can only start it with 2 hands, you won¿t accidentally turn it on. The blade brake stops in less than 1 second, which makes it even safer. Thanks to the soft-grip handle and its low weight, the BLACK+DECKER GTC1845L20-QW is also comfortable to use.

The BLACK+DECKER GTC1845L20-QW is part of a battery platform. This means you can use 1 battery with this machine and other (garden) tools from the same brand and voltage. If you already have a battery from the same platform, you don't need a new one. That saves you money and space. Want to know more about the advantages of a battery platform? Read our advice.
