Just to get straight to the point, TOP send! I've been looking for a steering wheel for the PS4 for a while now. There were still a few handlebars but these were priced quite high (300 euros or more) and I thought that was too much of a good thing and heard a lot of mixed reactions about them.
This handlebar had only just been released and I happened to see it pass by here right away, after some deliberation I decided to order it, the return option and the Sunday delivery convinced me even more easily and so the order was done.
The handlebars do not have a hard mount (mounting by means of bolts to a frame or the like), so the supplied clamp must be used, but it also works fully properly and secures the unit firmly to your playseat or desk or something else.
Once placed and connected it was plug n play (ps4) and what a surprise this was, considerable resistance of the force feedback and almost everything can be felt. I have used the steering wheel at driveclub and project cars and after you have adjusted the settings for the steering wheel in pcars, what an experience, I have been "racing" for some years and have tried quite a few steering wheels but really great in this price range.
I don't even have force feedback at its strongest in Pcars because the steering wheel deals a big blow then! I experience the noise of the mechanism as minimal, you always hear something natural.
Rotation is adjustable up to 1080 degrees and I think the unit is equipped with an internal cooling fan, when I almost put my ear on the wheelhouse I hear something very soft cooling and I noticed that the housing hardly gets warm, a big plus because I have heard that with the more expensive "big brother" the steering wheel is still decreasing in power because it gets very hot despite the cooling fan that it also has.
The diameter of the steering wheel is nice and large, not a tiny kart steering wheel and the flippers made of steel (aluminium) are robust and easy to reach.
Furthermore, equipped with all conveniences (buttons) that you often use on the PS4, including share button.
Pedals feel good and can be replaced for a more luxurious pedal set via the thrustmaster site.
