I've had the Logitech Harmony Elite for two weeks now and I'm not very happy with it. Maybe I should have done some more research, but now I experience it as a bad buy.
I really wanted to use the remote as a Smart Home remote. So, for example, create different activities that are separate from each other. One to start the TV together with the soundbar and Philips Hue in the living room, another to start the Sonos together with certain lighting in the bathroom, an activity for the outdoor lighting, .. Now it turns out that no multiple activities can work simultaneously . Are you quietly watching some TV, do you want to start the bathroom activity for your wife, but then your TV turns off. Not really useful. I expected more from a device with so many possibilities, but maybe that's just me.
Furthermore, the programming of a series of commands is really ridiculously poorly implemented. For example, if I want to set my picture settings to "Film" in the activity "Netflix", I have to perform a few repetitive steps. eg. 3x right, 2x up, SELECT, 5x down, SELECT, EXIT. In principle, this should be possible in 6 steps, where you mention at a step that it must be repeated x times. Not so. You can insert each step separately, and in the app the scrolling (which is necessary with so many steps) is regularly interpreted as drag-and-drop of steps. So then they get together again.
As mentioned before, maybe it's my expectations of such an expensive device, but I'm really disappointed by it.
