Campingaz Party Grill 600

Brilliant thing, especially that it takes up little space. That is very welcome in a car crammed with camping gear. After 3 weeks of camping I can say a few things about this. You can basically do everything with it and you don't need to take other pans with you: except for maybe 1 pan with a lid for cooking eggs or vegetables.

After a camping holiday of 3 weeks, the necessary scratches are here and there on the baking and grill plate, nothing serious, we just have to be a bit more economical with it, we think. Over the years, that record will probably need to be replaced.

That wok is very handy.. either you use it as a lid when you are baking a good bouncer like a real chef (just put the lid on, let the egg yolk set a bit, etc. etc.), or you use it as a.. wok! Truly an invention, multifunctional is a key word when you go camping.

Oh yes, that baking tray, the edge is a bit low, so your oil is guaranteed to run off a bit. Put it like this: I don't know whether it is very useful if you are going to bake a thick pancake, there is a good chance that the batter will run over the edge, but maybe it will just work.

However, those few small negatives do not outweigh the advantages. You can unscrew the legs, put everything in the device and cover it and it's a compact thing that you throw in an open hole in the trunk and turns out to be surprisingly versatile when you put it back together and connect it to your gas bottle.

I only have 2 words for it and they are: FANTASTIC THING.

When in doubt, don't… buy it.

No, one more thing: we have never used the flame distributor and the grid.. at most as a trivet for the wok. But they don't take up any extra space so... maybe it will come in handy someday.

Contrary to the description of BBQ Center.be, this appliance can be connected to other types of gas bottles. You only have to replace the campingaz trigger with a trigger that you need for the gas bottle of your choice. For example, I use the plastics Calipso Butane (blue) from Antargaz. That's a lightweight bottle, with a clip-on shutter release, which is much cheaper than a Campingaz R907 (Calypso butane costs only 16.50 Euro for 9 kg)

Already have the 600, this one is for the boat. Great, you can also bake a pizza and sandwiches in it
