Was looking for a democratically priced full HD monitor with HDMI and VGA, preferably with built-in speakers. 24" is big enough for a full HD (I would only consider a 27" at a higher resolution). After much deliberation, I dropped the speaker requirement (bought a separate speaker set) and fell for the light-hearted (literally and figuratively) and minimalist design of the AOC I2481FXH.
Have it for a few days now and I am very satisfied: unpack, plug in (works plug and play on both Mac and PC) and use (for video playback). There is nothing to criticize about the image quality (at first sight the same image quality as my other 24" monitor, a Dell U2414H, which is quite a bit more expensive). Highly recommended if you are looking for standard image quality packed in a stylish design.
You do not have to go into the webshop suggestion to order another HDMI cable, because it is indeed in the box as promised (and also a VGA cable).
