As a regular runner, and a music lover, finding the right headphones for my runs has been a needle in a haystack. I've tried several 'sport' models from Sennheiser and Sony, but never invested a lot of money as there are also limitations when it comes to making the headphones water and shock resistant. When I got the chance to try the Bose SoundSport, I was quite skeptical as I'd heard conflicting reports about Bluetooth headphones and sound quality.

When I opened the box, I was immediately impressed with the way the headphones were built. Sturdy and well put together, giving a premium feel. Pairing the headphones with my iPhone 6 was super easy, but even though I downloaded the necessary software, I didn't immediately feel I needed it. But I do expect Bose to come up with new features in the future.

The sound quality was great and wrapped up nicely with the rest. On a fast 10km run, the headphones just stuck to my ears, despite the fact that the headphones were heavier than I expected. But I have to admit that it was wonderful not to be busy with your choirs all the time, and to be able to just focus on the run and the music itself, without any distractions.

A disadvantage was that the connection between Spotify and Soundsport occasionally dropped out during subsequent runs, but I assume that Bose will fix this in the future by means of possible software updates. Recently I went to have a look at bluetooth earplugs, because the cord of my earphones (se215) often got in the way. Both at the gym and when delivering mail, the cord was in the way, so time for bluetooth! After searching for a while, the choices were limited.
