I had read a lot of good things about this fairly inexpensive lens. So I quickly ordered from CoolBlue and as usual the day after I could start working with it. In the beginning it takes some getting used to the way you switch between manual and automatic focus, but once you get used to it it's a beautiful way to work. No need to look for the switch to turn off AF, just pull/push the rotating ring and you can switch. The lens gives very sharp photos and because of its short setting distance you can get very close to your subject. The lens can also be used very well as a portrait lens. Due to its maximum opening of F2.8, you can get a nice BOKEH and only focus on your subject.
