According to our console expert
The Xbox One X is made for serious gamers who want to experience games and entertainment in 4K. The Xbox One X is about twice as powerful as an Xbox One S, so you can play the latest games in 4K quality. For the movie fans, the sleek, black design of the Xbox One X fits in any home cinema setup. It features an Ultra HD Blu-ray player, so you can watch the latest movies in cinema quality. What's unique for consoles is the fact that the Xbox One X barely makes any noise during gaming, thanks to its water cooling.

I'm not going to beat around the bush, I'm an Xbox fanboy. Still, I wanted to write a review.
My console experience starts early with the NES/SNES and Playstation 1.
After which I switched to gaming on PiratenComputer ;). After a while, relaxing on the couch gaming started to attract me again and I bought an Xbox 360. followed by an Xbox One, Xbox one S and now the Xbox one X.
My brother already had Xbox 360, and you get to know people online, hence the choice for Xbox. If my brother had had a playstation, I probably would have bought it.
That is also my best advice: Buy what your friends and acquaintances have in your area. Gaming together is more fun than alone. And the difference between the resolutions doesn't give you much more fun than beating Mate 3-2 in FIFA ;) or dragging your Brother through PUBG/Fortnight. And no more than sailing with your Vader in Sea of Thieves (OW awaits Exclusive Game ;) ).
In both FIFA and Forza 7 I noticed a difference in both the loading time and the look and even the way the frames came across more smoothly to me. I still play on my same Full HD TV. So I don't use 4K Image but the 4K Rendering(!) This makes everything look tighter and Fifa felt smoother to me (played over 500 games so noticed a difference right away).
I have always mentioned that you should especially look at your environment to determine which console you should choose. But why on earth would you go for an XBOX one X or PS4 PRO when you could also go for the XBOX one S od PS4 Slim?
Simple: (image) Quality (both graphics and Frames per second) and Faster release times (Single player games). For me these things equal "game comfort" If you have the money (for it) then I would always choose the more expensive versions. Just like the choice for the Xbox One Elite Controller. It is not necessary, to the outsider it seems pointless. But for me it has simply increased the gaming comfort.

After purchasing a 4k TV, this console was a must. preordered, and arrived on release day. The console itself is slightly smaller than the S, but quite heavy. Nice design, and silent. Playing games in 4k, HDR and 60fps, it's a great experience. It's visually spectacular, don't regret it for a second. As good as a high-end PC for 1000 euros. And there is also a UHD blu-ray drive.
