According to our vacuum expert
This vacuum is relatively quiet with a 59-decibel noise level.
Thanks to the 12-meter long cord, you don't have to change the socket often.
The included parquet brush protects your hard flooring against scratches.
This vacuum weighs 8.1 kilos, which is heavier than other vacuums in this price range.
Doesn't include a turbo brush, so pet hairs or coarse carpets are harder to clean.
The Bosch In'genius ProSilence BGB8A32W is a stylish and quiet vacuum, with a noise level of only 59 decibels. This means that, while vacuuming, you can keep your conversation going without raising your voice. You can easily hear music in the background, and even watching TV while vacuuming is not a problem. You can use this vacuum on hard flooring, low-pile carpet, and delicate wood flooring. This is thanks to its parquet brush, which has soft bristles to ensure scratch-free cleaning performance. Thanks to its 12-meter cord, you can clean the kitchen and hallway immediately after you finish the living room, without having to swap sockets.
-Wheels are made of rock hard plastic and make considerable noise when moving the vacuum cleaner over a smooth wooden floor.

The suction power of this vacuum cleaner is very disappointing. It was impossible to vacuum up a TicTac-like candy from the screed floor. It is also nice that the cord is quite long, and the vacuum cleaner is really quiet. Other than that it is a good product. If you want a quiet vacuum cleaner, this is a good choice. If you want a lot of suction power, look further.

After we installed a different suction foot, the vacuum cleaner is wonderfully quiet. The wheels under the original base produce such an annoying noise that this negates the reason for our purchase of this rather expensive vacuum cleaner.
