With the 2DS XL Pokéball edition, Nintendo makes the 2DS a lot easier to handle for young gamers and ensures that Pokémon fans of all ages play their favorite Pokémon games in style. The design is almost identical to the 3DS XL, but without the 3D functionality. Still, young gamers are more comfortable with it, since the 2DS XL is a lot lighter. In addition, the 2DS is now also collapsible and therefore easier to carry. Also included with this model is an AC adapter and it's possible to detect Amiibo via the integrated NFC reader.
Fantastic thing! Recommended.

Compared to my first generation 3DS it is really a super thing. Faster, bigger and lighter too. Also very handy is that there is now a cover over the place for your micro SD and game. No more trouble with funny people pushing your game out. The only thing I can really fault is that the on/off button is on the bottom and in my opinion is a bit difficult to press. However, you no longer accidentally express the ds.
