We make a daily vegetable/fruit smoothie with frozen fruit and various vegetables such as zucchini but also raw carrots. Bought this blender in November 2017, after almost 3 years of loyal service, the connection between the motor and the blade has broken. Unfortunately, a replacement blade is not for sale anywhere. Our experience: blender makes quite a bit of noise, but that's acceptable with frozen fruit. Ingredients sometimes have to be pressed during blending, luckily Tefal has supplied a spatula for this that fits exactly through the opening in the lid and does not touch the blades. The spatula covers the opening to prevent splashing (and cleaning the kitchen). The suction cups on the feet ensure that the blender remains firmly on the counter. We don't think the knives have gotten (much) blunter over time.
