Have actually wanted to have for years: Philips Hue lighting. Now finally got it. I ordered a starter set of color, a Buckram 4-spot and 2 light strips for outdoor use. Was neatly delivered the next day by Coolblue in 2 packages; everything neatly packed and complete. I had taken half a day off for the installation. I still had to replace 2 dimmers 220 Volt with regular switches, then hung the Buckram spot (+ old ceiling lamp removed). Then I connected the Hue Bridge, which was also extremely simple and I already tested it with the Hue dimmer and the Buckram. What a convenience… Then I hung a wall lamp with a Color lamp and also screwed in a Color lamp in an existing ceiling lamp. Tested again, including motion detector. What simplicity! All in all it took about 1.5 hours…so I had some free time left over from my half day. After a few days I hung up the light strips (I still had to fix up the roof first) and that was also done in no time; I also connected it to a dimmer. In short, I and certainly my wife and daughter are very satisfied with the Hue system. Installed the Hue app on all 3 of our phones, but I do take care of the settings. Now let's discuss 2 spots for outside in combination with the GU10 Hue ambiance lamps. And then… who knows?
