According to our access point expert
The casing of this access point is waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor use.
Powered by the network cable, so you don't need a socket.
This access point supports VPN Passthrough, allowing you to log into an external company network.
This single-band access point doesn't have a WiFi network on the faster 5GHz band.
Transferring files is 10 times slower using Fast Ethernet compared to gigabit Ethernet.
The TP-Link EAP110 Outdoor is a waterproof access point for outdoors. You can use it to provide for example an entire campsite or spa with wireless internet. The TP-Link software allows you to manage your WiFi point and to link multiple access points, both indoors and outdoors. This way, your guests will be able to go online from anywhere in the building. Create different guest networks and decide who can access the files on your network drive and who can't. The software also allows you to print temporary passwords, which will expire as soon as a guest has left the premises. The access point is powered by the network cable. That means you won't have to extend a power cord to your outdoor space. You can mount this access point on a wall or a post.
Is used on the campsite wifi coverage everywhere although with 2 wifi points, but that's normal with this surface, for home is sufficient for wifi in your garden works via DHCP so no messing around with static ip addresses but can be done via static ip so i have it here
