This is my 2nd drone, I also have a Typhoon H from Yuneec which is a really great drone, but I bought the Mavic Air because of its compact size.

The Typhoon H is far from ideal to take with you on holiday or take a day trip because of its large size and heavy weight (Drone + Suitcase).

The Mavic's travel bag is really perfect and you have room for all the accessories in it and it doesn't weigh almost nothing, the average woman's handbag weighs more :P

Then some useful info about the Plus & Minus points and why you should buy this drone if you have any doubts.

Plus Points: After the 1st update (+- 10 min), the drone is really ready to go into the air within 1 minute. The operation is very easy and it really is child's play to fly here. Everything works smoothly and the drone does really well in the high winds. The HDR photos and Panorama photos are really sharp and show a lot of details. I can be very short about the range of the drone, which in my opinion is good and really not a stumbling point (I had my doubts about this before I bought the drone). You have to ask yourself 1 important question when buying a drone, where do I want to fly? I always fly in open areas where there are few houses/buildings and the drone works really well there, I'm not going to set any distances but the range has really exceeded my expectations and that without 1x image loss or noise. I believe that you suffer more from image loss in urban areas, but in all my cases I have not had to deal with that.

Minus Points: The flight time of the battery is very short and people really lie about that. The manufacturer says that you should be able to fly 21 min (under ideal conditions) well you will not get that by far. At the 16 to 17 min it is really time to land, so always buy the fly more combo because of the 2 extra batteries which you really need if you want to fly longer than 16 min. What I also find disappointing is the "Follow Me" mode, it follows up to about 20 km/h and after that it can no longer keep up (tested with speedboat). Of course you can switch to sport mode, but then you have to fly manually, operate the camera and keep an eye on too many things, so that you can make beautiful images less quickly because you are too busy with peripheral matters. The angle of view in sport mode is also not very nice, it is very small so that you have to fly high and further from the object to get a nice image frame, while a close-up at high speed is just so cool.
