We already had an Alecto baby monitor, the DBX 85. We bought this one to keep an eye on two kids. Does the same and more, but weighs less and has instead. a charging station simply has a charging plug, so that saves on luggage for travel.
The included rechargeable batteries did not make sense at first, they seemed to charge little or not at all. After a few days of fully charging the plug, they work properly.
The sensitivity is adjustable, so you can decide for yourself whether you are warned with every cough or only when you cry. If I have understood correctly, the device will not send anything to the receiver if no sound is detected, so setting a lower sensitivity means that you can enjoy your rest more and your baby gets less radiation!
The menu structure and operation are not immediately clear to everyone, but in the end you will figure it out, you can put the manual away immediately.
The range is fine, from the attic floor to the living room of the neighbors across the street is no problem, but we have to say that we have an old house, so no concrete walls and floors.

According to our baby monitor expert
You can adjust the sound sensitivity of your baby monitor to respond to soft or loud sounds.
Comfort your little one with 5 lullabies and the two-way audio.
With the VOX function, you save battery life, because only the parent unit will go off if your child makes a sound.
The range of a DECT baby monitor isn't as large as that of a PMR baby monitor.
Batteries for the baby-unit aren't included.
Alecto DBX-125 Full ECO DECT is a good standard baby monitor. The baby monitor has a parent and a baby unit that are connected via a DECT connection. The parent unit has a display that shows the temperature in the baby room. Besides that, the battery level is displayed. That way, you always know when you have to charge the unit. Comforting your little one is also taken care of. The baby monitor has 5 lullabies, 2-way audio, and a night light. The range between both units is 50m indoors. This depends on the insulation of your home.
