Maneuverability
Bought to replace an old, noisy Lavor and intended to collect dust in a wood shop (hobby) when sawing and sanding, so connected to the machines. It was immediately noticeable that the machine is much quieter. The workmanship is also better: rubber-sealed switch, better dust hose, sturdier power cord... However, the manual doesn't explain half of it. You will not find some separately supplied parts. You have to figure out what they are for and how to mount them. That could be much better and it is surprising for Makita. Bizarre: the socket on the device is a grounded one. Fortunately, saws and sanders are double grounded, so it doesn't matter. Because both the power cord and the suction hose are quite long, you have a large range with the machine. The hose is also flexible enough not to interfere with work. Adapters to different connection diameters should be included. Now you have to look for it.

Use it for a week for vacuuming building dust. Also coupled to slotting cutter. That worked great. It says very well and does not make excessive noise compared to regular vacuum cleaners. Have previously used an old Philips hydrogen vacuum cleaner as a construction vacuum cleaner, but compared to that vacuum cleaner, this one is wonderfully light (weight). So less lugging. It is also easy to maneuver thanks to the swivel wheels.

According to our construction vacuum expert
With the built-in socket, you can connect your power tools to vacuum dirt directly while working.
Thanks to the 5m power cord, you can work farther away from the socket.
The construction vacuum is TNO certified, so you can safely vacuum fine dirt for longer.
A construction vacuum without an automatic filter cleaning loses suction power faster.
The Makita VC3011L is a maintenance-free construction vacuum that you can use to vacuum up to 23L worth of dirt and liquids. With a push of the button, you can clean the PET filter so the suction power remains constant and optimal. Connect your power tools via the built-in socket, and the L class construction vacuum starts vacuuming right away once you turn on the tool. You'll be ensured of a clean and dust-free work space. The large wheels and plastic bumper make sure that the VC3011L can take a beating. That's necessary at the work site. Neatly store the vacuum hose, power cord, and adapters after use in the accompanying storage. Note: this vacuum and hose are NOT antistatic and are unsuitable in combination with a slotted saw, angle grinder, grinder, woodworking router, demolition hammer, and drywall sander.
