According to our television expert
With the Sony KD-49XG9005, you'll always enjoy lifelike images. This 4K TV is equipped with a 100Hz refresh rate. In combination with the X-Motion Clarity technique, even the fastest images are smoothly and clearly displayed. This means you won't miss a single detail of a car chase or fast action during a sports game. The full array backlight ensures deep black levels and improved contrast. When you connect the TV to the internet, you gain access to the Android operating system. With help of the clear smart menu, you can quickly switch between live TV, websites, and useful apps such as YouTube or Netflix.

The Sony KD-49XG9005 is a very sleek fast 100 hertz 4k TV, with HDR10 Dolby Vision and Atmos on board. A real pleasure for every Neflix and movie fanatic. Image is just super (clear) and black is really black, white is really white. Sound from TV is good but better with a soundbar or home cinema 5.1 or 7.1. Gaming on this TV is a pleasure. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a 4K andriod TV and otherwise ;) .

Owned this TV for a month now. Really perfect image, sharp, very realistic color reproduction, very good contrast. Very suitable for film lovers, also sports (soccer) to watch very well, Sony is very good with moving images.
I did struggle for two weeks with how to get the image right. After a while I found out why. There is an automatic brightness dimmer on this TV, which adjusts the brightness of the image to the environment, so that you don't watch TV in a dark room with a too bright image in the evening. With Sony TVs, this dimmer is not properly adjusted, so that the image is often too dim in the evening. Not as sparkling as, for example, a Samsung TV. You should know that when you buy this TV. You can also easily turn off the automatic dimmer, but then you have to choose: either an image that is too bright in the evening (set to daytime), or a too dim image during the day (because dimmer is set to the evening). Incidentally, this is also personal, perhaps others do not find this image too dull.
Another important point about this TV is the lack of the 'live recording' function. What is easier to press the pause mode on your remote control while you go get a coffee? I think that's important, and that's why I connected my hard disk to this TV. However, I can program to record programs in the future, but freezing 'live TV' doesn't work. That applies to all newer Sony TVs, Sony has turned this feature off, but I didn't know that.... That's why I took my trusty Humax decoder out of the closet again, and connected the hard disk for recording to it, and now the live recording function works like a charm. So via the Humax decoder, not via the TV. It is therefore important to know before you purchase this TV. If you think 'live recording' is important.
Furthermore, extremely satisfied with the service of Coolblue, but who isn't......! :-)
