According to our smart light expert
You don't need a bridge because the light works with Bluetooth.
You can choose from different light scenes for the right atmosphere for every occasion.
This light only has 1 shade of white.
You can only control the light with your smartphone within a radius of 10 meters if you don't have a bridge.
With the Philips Hue Candle Light White E14 Duo Pack, you can provide your home with smart lighting. These smart lights are connected directly to your phone. You can dim the smart lights or turn them on and off via the app. Connect the smart lights to a voice assistant and you'll be able to control them with your voice. You won't even need your phone anymore. Want to switch the light on and off when you're not at home or set timers? You can add a Philips Hue Bridge later. This allows you to connect your smart lights to the internet. The lights are also suitable as an expansion for an existing set of Philips Hue lights with bridge.

Great lamps, give nice light. Can be dimmed far.

I use these lamps in combination with the hue bridge and not via bluetooth. The lamps can be dimmed far (beyond the comparable tradfri lamps from ikea) and have a nice color, albeit not as warm as the "warm ambiance" hue lamps. The lamps respond almost immediately as soon as you turn them on via the app. They have a nice (and fast) fade in/out, so they don't turn on or off abruptly. Other than that I can't say much about a lamp, except that they are more than worth the money.

Used Philips Hue for the first time and installed new lamps next to the existing system, very user-friendly.
