After two years of misery with a Melita volespresso (maintenance, noise, grinder defect, others) we now opted for top quality. This machine has a high quality finish and very nice design. No plastic junk like you have with many other machines. After a week of use nothing but praise, especially the grinder is very quiet and grinds quickly. The water reservoir is a bit smaller (but very nice) but that way you always have fresh water and that benefits the taste of the coffee.
