Recently bought the LaCie Rugged SSD Boss 1TB. The experiences so far have been positive. The hard drive feels robust and looks the same in its nice orange rubber jacket. The connection options are endless. LaCie includes multiple connection cables, so anyone can connect the SSD to their computer/tablet/phone. Personally, I find the cables a bit too short to work with. For the solid purchase price, I had actually expected a wireless connection option, for example via bluetooth and/or wifi. The app for the phone and tablet is clear and works well. With the app you can easily download or upload your files. In the app you have full access to the SSD drive and you can create and delete folders and your files are also easy to copy/move/name. The SD connection port is extremely handy for me. I can insert my SD card directly into the LaCie SSD and transfer my photos to the drive at the touch of a button. Unfortunately, you do not have the option to choose the location.
