I bought this screen partly because of the good reviews, but sent it back within a few hours. So it might be good for others to shed some light on this side as well.
The biggest problem for me was the extreme IPS glow, especially on the right side of the screen. Even during the day there were obvious light differences on the screen. Perhaps this was my model and I was unlucky. But the overall image quality disappointed me anyway. Viewing angle was poor and colors were mediocre (especially after my previous Asus with factory calibration).
By the way, it said that there is a blue light filter on the monitor, I couldn't find it, not even on the LG site? A must for me....
In addition, I had bought the screen because I (perhaps wrongly) thought that you could put the screen completely flat against the back wall. Unfortunately, the swivel arm cannot be turned completely 90 degrees to the right or left without a certain kink. This allowed me to sit as close to the screen as with a fixed/normal screen.
Finally, I found the plug cord very short (1 meter I think?) and it had a huge and heavy external power supply attached, maybe ok at work, but a letdown at home.
