At first you think: what a great product! In my opinion, you buy a Versa 3 to be able to leave the phone at home while exercising. It therefore seems that everything is possible, an upgrade of the Versa 2 because it now has GPS. Unfortunately this is not the case, if you like music there are two options: either take your phone with you or a premium Deezer subscription. In addition to the fact that you also have to take out a Premium fitbit subscription for your health stats. That's really worthless. There is a lot of negative feedback from the Fitbit community about the music downgrade compared to the Versa 2. Unfortunately, Fitbit does not listen to its customers and there are many people who return the watch, because it is not clearly communicated that music only via a subscription to Deezer is possible. Based on the last point, I had my doubts about the Fitbit Versa 3, or a real sports watch from a specialized brand. Based on my other wishes, I chose the Fitbit, which I have absolutely no regrets about. If you want a more reliable insight into your heart rate, then there is still work to be done for Fitbit. Because of the movements you make during a cirquit training, certain cross trainers or a combined workout, I notice that the Fitbit often estimates my heart rate too low by safely 20 BPM. A real disadvantage if you want to train with your HR zones. The amount of functions available on the Versa 3 is very good in relation to the price. I am very satisfied with all the functions that I have tested in the past few weeks. Calling is easy to understand for me, although I understand that it sounds a bit echoing to the other caller. Great for a quick and short conversation, but that's what this function is for. In short: the Versa 3 is a nice device for tracking your lifestyle. It is less suitable for measuring accurate sports performance, although I find that these are well measured for most workouts. The App is very accurate to use and contains enough functions in the unpaid version. If you are really looking for a smartwatch, then the smartwatch functions may be disappointing. The watch is highly recommended for sporadic use. Oh yes, for the safety of my screen I wear a silicone case over it. I don't know how scratch-sensitive the screen is, but my experience (with my old Fitbit tracker) is that due to intensive use, the watch quickly becomes ugly. A silicone case is a really good solution that keeps the touchscreen working well. Recommended!
