According to our binoculars expert
You can easily take the compact and lightweight 280g binoculars everywhere with you.
The binoculars have a magnification of 8x and a 105m field of view.
Thanks to the continuously rotatable eyepieces, the binoculars are also suitable for people who wear glasses.
Due to the relatively small exit pupil of 3.1mm, the binoculars are less suitable for use at dusk.
The Vogelbescherming Stern II 8x25 are binoculars for the birder and adventurous outdoor hiker. These compact binoculars from the Vogelbescherming only weigh 280g, so you can easily take them everywhere with you. The Stern II 8x25 have a magnification of 8x and a 105m field of view. The image is clear and sharp thanks to the multiple coatings. The smooth focus and rubber casing ensure that it's comfortable to use. That's useful when you go out in the rain or to humid locations. You can rotate the eyepieces continuously, so you can adjust them to your liking. This makes the binoculars suitable for people who wear glasses as well. The design is dustproof and splash proof with an IPX4 rating. So feel free to use the binoculars during a light rain shower.

Easy to take with you on walks. Not very bright, but clear images during the day.

Due to the compact size, this is an ideal viewer to take with you on the road. The magnification factor of 8x is more than sufficient for bird watching without the image becoming too restless due to shaking of the hands. Due to the porro lens system, this viewer also has a finer depth perception than my previous viewer: it feels more natural and less like looking at a photo. The quality of the option and robustness is not disappointing given the price. In general, the viewing feels sturdy, only the eyepiece distance setting feels a bit less sturdy.
