Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our iron expert
The steam burst of 360g/m quickly deals with stubborn wrinkles.
The temperature and steam settings are automatically adjusted, so you can iron different types of fabric back-to-back.
Steam even reaches the point of the soleplate, which is especially useful when you iron dress shirts.
You can refill the water tank during use, but you'll have to wait a moment for the water to heat up again.
A steam generator doesn't fit on a regular ironing board.
With the Philips PerfectCare Compact Essential GC6840/20, you can easily steam and iron the thickest fabrics smooth. Thanks to the compact size, you can easily store the steam generator after use. The compact size doesn't affect the power of the generator. The appliance has a steam pressure of 6 bar and a steam burst of 360g/m, so you'll quickly smoothen a pile of laundry. You can also use the iron vertically to freshen up hanging clothes or curtains. Thanks to the OptimalTemp technology, the steam generator precisely sets the right temperature and steam settings. That way, you don't have to think about the settings and prevent burns.

Iron does not get hot enough to iron properly. When you want to give a steam boost, it leaks water. Is doable for ironing shirts, but not for cotton and linen.

Price, quality is good. I would still like to set the temperature manually on my next iron.
