The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom Nintendo Switch

After BotW, this is the new Zelda. What a pleasure to play again. Making games, leave that to Nintendo

It is large. Very large. Hyrule is the same, only now you also have a whole underground map and you have islands in the sky. There are new skills that I thought I would find tedious because I don't like complicated stuff, but it plays really easy. Fuse makes things a lot easier eg instead of a bomb arrow you just choose to add a bomb flower to your arrow when firing. You can go up through rocks etc, which is very useful if you like to explore.

The game is from what I've seen so far a full-fledged sequel to the previous game (Breath of the Wild). The world has changed dramatically in many ways and two completely new areas the size of the old world have been added. The story is well put together and for returning players of the series it is also a source of many intrigues about the implications of this game on the timeline. The gameplay feels smooth but still needs some getting used to due to small adjustments compared to Breath of the Wild. Another highlight is that many monsters iconic to fans of the series return to this game. For example, the gleeok (three-headed dragon) was already shown in the trailers and many others are finally back. The only drawbacks I've found are that on rare occasions in towns or crowded places it seems to temporarily drop fps but that's over after approx. 5 seconds and it doesn't affect gameplay much as it mainly happens in safe areas.
