LG Tone Free DFP5 Black

What a different sound experience than with an old-fashioned headphones The sound almost seems to be in your head, making you much more one with the music.

I use the earphones for meditations where the sounds (tones) are very important. Then they are really super nice! Much more intense and nicer than with my old-fashioned over-the-ear headphones, I experience it much more. The sound quality is good enough for this. At full volume, some tones do distort, but 80% is loud enough and then they are clean and free of interference. During that meditation, via my laptop, the connection is sometimes a faction of a second away (environmental interference?). When I listen to music or make calls on my phone, I haven't noticed it yet.

I think 2 earphones are too intense for making calls, so I choose one. That works fine. I can be heard well even when I whisper and I hear everything very well. Even when I'm walking around, as long as I don't go into other rooms. Then it interferes a bit, although it is still intelligible and the connection is maintained

Answering and serving is partly via the app and partly via the earphones. The button on the earphones is very sensitive and you can easily tap it accidentally, eg when putting it in.

The fit and the hypoallergenic material are great. Even with my narrow and sensitive ears, they are okay, although I won't wear them in for hours. You can also adjust them a bit to your ears with the different sizes supplied caps. It even comes with a spare set!

The earphones come in a nice small, sturdy case, in which you can also charge them with a corresponding USB cable (plug not included). Opening the case connects them immediately and they automatically take over the sound of your device. So, for example, you no longer hear your phone ringing, which takes some getting used to for me.

Have you lost your loose ears? Then you beep them via the app. Very handy! It is a pity that the app only works when your case is open and they are connected. With a closed case you still have to find out where they are.

**I was allowed to test these earphones for a few weeks for an independent consumer test panel, with the explicit assignment to share my findings honestly.

Nice earphones that even stay in my ears, that is sometimes different with wireless earphones with me.

The earphones come in a handy round storage box, in which they are also charged. This box also has a battery, so you can also recharge your earphones on the go.

When you open the box for the first time, the pairing mode is immediately activated. So this is very easy. Before you can connect a second device, you first have to search. The user manual is quite brief. In the app (with bad translation from English) you can eventually find how to link.

You can also change many settings via the ap, the type of music, noise canceling and the like. Via the app you can also set what happens when you tap the buttons on the earbuds 1, 2 or 3 times (left and right can have a different function).

I didn't try all the functions in the app, I didn't hear any difference with many of the equalizer presets.

You can use the earphones as a headset due to the built-in microphone. I have not heard any complaints from the other participants of my calls about the quality. Unfortunately, you can't connect the earphones to your phone and computer at the same time, so if you use the earphones for video calling on your computer and you receive a call on your phone, you must first remove an earpiece.

Also good sound from the earphones, well for me it is always good quickly. Sound is good, volume is easy to control.

These earphones are ideal for listening to music while you are doing something. They fit well in your ears so you don't have the feeling that they can fall out at any moment. Even with noise around you, you get a nice sound with good bass.

The battery lasts a long time, and the size of the box means you always have the earphones with you.

Pairing the earphones with your phone is easy by means of the LG APP and after that everything goes automatically.

Quality is excellent and hope to enjoy it for a long time to come.
