According to our jigsaw expert
The jigsaw is part of the Bosch POWER FOR ALL 18V battery platform, so you can use batteries from this platform on this saw as well.
You can saw up to 100mm deep into wood, so you can work with thick materials without problems.
With the useful blow function, you can blow away dust while you're sawing and always see exactly what you're doing.
You don't get a battery, so you can't get started right away.
I bought the jigsaw without a battery because I would receive one for free after registration. Unfortunately, it is not possible to add the article number (site crashes). So I can't use it yet and it's a shame, because now I am forced to buy an expensive battery.

At first I had some doubts about the device since it works via a battery and therefore wirelessly. Would the saw have enough power to cut thicker panels or will the battery last long enough. There's nothing more annoying than having to reload halfway through a job. Fortunately, you don't have to take that into account with this device. The device is powerful enough and the battery lasts a long time. Recharging is easy and the batteries are interchangeable with other Bosch devices. The only downside that I can mention is that the device cannot stand upright by itself. This isn't insurmountable, but it would be easy.

Very fine saw. You can easily put the saw blade on and off or replace it. Speed of sawing well controllable. No cord and the battery has sufficient power. I am very satisfied with it, for a good price.
