DYMO LabelWriter 550
anything for a smile
No extra label
This in itself good product suffers from the bad software that comes with it. Forget importing from Excel. Alignment is messed up by default, unwanted leading spaces are inserted and must be removed manually. Most essential problem: text boxes are not equipped with automatic line breaks (eg with a space). You have to do that in Excel and this software will not accept that.

The sale states which labels you can use, however you can throw away your old stock of the same type because it does not recognize it so you are again obliged to spend a lot of money on new labels while you still have a large stock of original DYMO labels

There is an RFID tag in Dymo labels. This label writer detects whether the RFID tag is present. So you can only use the original and very expensive labels from Dymo!
The RFID tag also counts the number of prints.
Unfortunately I discovered this too late and I can no longer return it.
