The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 is the third model in this true wireless series from Sennheiser. Thanks to the extensive app, I adjust these earplugs completely to my own taste. It just takes a long time to find the right fit.

Extensive app I immediately download the Sennheiser Smart Control app while unpacking. When I open the app, I immediately get an explanation how to connect the earbuds. Before this I had the Sennheiser CX Plus earphones, but after they broke it seemed time for an upgrade. Well, these certainly are, in every way except comfort. The sound is fantastic, there is not much more to say about it because it is actually perfect. It sounds spacious, natural, wonderfully detailed and full. The noise canceling works very well too - I'm sure the Anti-Wind mode is very effective at blocking wind but also reduces the rumble of my footsteps a lot, which makes it very useful when I go outside for cycling and certainly for walking.

The biggest drawback is the comfort in my ears - at least, from the included earplugs. The CX Plus were very comfortable in my ears with the Medium size tips, so I assumed that would fit here as well. Unfortunately, all sizes of the tips here are slightly larger than those of the other Sennheiser earphones, so that Medium is now too large but Small is still too small. Both sizes of plugs don't close well in my ears, so they itch very quickly, the sound sounds weak and the noise canceling works poorly. The only reason I know how good the earphones are is that I tried the tips from the CX on these earphones before returning the CX, it worked completely and then the earphones are 10/10. But now I don't have these caps and I'm stuck with the bad sizes.
