The SteelSeries Aerox 5 Wireless Gaming Mouse Black combines lightweight with precision and freedom of movement. You can connect this wireless gaming mouse to the included USB receiver or Bluetooth. Prefer to game wired? Do so with the included USB cable. Adjust the optical sensor up to 18,000DPI, so the cursor moves quickly and precisely on your screen. The Aerox 5 only weighs 74g thanks to its honeycomb design. This makes it one of the lightest gaming mice. With the 5 programmable buttons, you can use functions like switching your weapon in Call of Duty faster than your opponent. You can also adjust the lighting of the mouse. Choose one of the 16.8 million colors, so your mouse matches your setup.

I was able to test this mouse for a few weeks. The mouse looks very futuristic and fits really well in the hand. The buttons are very nice and click very easily. The only minor downside is that the response of the mouse icon is slower than I am used to and when I work with 4 screens (well, sorry) I have to drag a lot more and it takes longer. Furthermore, the LED is a very nice addition and I am very happy with this mouse. The fact that it is wired is a shame, but not an imperfection.

I had the opportunity to test the mouse for a few weeks and my findings are positive. The size and weight of the mouse makes it comfortable to hold. The mouse is mainly intended for gaming and that is what I mainly did with it. Due to the good sensor and the weight, the mouse is especially suitable for faster games. I wouldn't recommend this mouse for regular office work. Unfortunately the software is inferior, for example I could not get the sniper button to work properly, because this is very cumbersome.
