According to our mobile phone expert
With the dual camera, you can take good photos and videos, even in low light.
Thanks to the Action mode, you always record stable videos, even if you're moving while recording.
Your iPhone responds quickly and runs the most demanding apps without slowing down.
You only have a 128GB storage, so you regularly have to delete apps and photos.
With the 12-megapixel camera, you take less detailed photos than with the 48-megapixel camera of the iPhone 15.
The Apple iPhone 14 is a powerful and fast iPhone that I use to take sharp photos. Thanks to the new action mode, my videos are less jittery.
Same design as iPhone 13 I have a black iPhone myself, so this blue iPhone 14 takes some getting used to. But it's a nice color. The back is made of glass and the sides are matte blue. This gives the device a professional look. For the rest, the device is exactly the same as the iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 fits well in my hand thanks to the matte finish of the sides. In terms of weight, it is comparable to iPhone 12 and 13.
Powerful A15 Bionic processor This iPhone has the powerful A15 Bionic processor of the iPhone 13 Pro. It has one graphics core more than the A15 chip of the iPhone 13. Playing 3D games is therefore smooth. In addition, I quickly edit my videos. Thanks to the 6GB RAM, I can keep even more apps open and I can easily switch between my social media apps and Spotify.
Battery that lasts 1 day At the start of my day, the battery is full. In the train I listen to music via Spotify and I check my mail. In my breaks I check Twitter. Around 5 o'clock in the afternoon the battery is still half full. During the return journey I watch videos on YouTube and listen to a podcast. I get home at 7am and see I have 20 percent battery left. It is therefore true that this iPhone lasts a day without intermediate charging.
Bright screen The 6.1-inch OLED screen is sharp and clear. When viewing a series, the colors are full and natural. In an environment with a lot of light, the screen does not need to be extra bright. It's different outside in the sun. Then I have to put the screen a little brighter, so that everything remains legible. I expect that in the summer I will have to set the screen to maximum brightness.
Action mode for stable videos With the standard and wide-angle lens on the back, I take sharp and colorful photos. And thanks to Night mode, I also do that in places with low light. What stands out is the new action mode. I can easily turn this on before recording a video. Even if I run or move a lot, the video remains stable. The selfie camera now has autofocus. I notice that in low light the colors are brighter compared to iPhone 13's selfie camera.

Bought this iPhone, because the camera of my previous one suddenly gave up. The camera works well, good quality of photos and videos. Furthermore I have the feeling that there are not a lot of new functions on it compared to the iPhone 12. For the rest a nice iPhone :)
