Description

The Rode WS12 is a windshield for the Rode VideoMic Go II. This windshield reduces white noise, so you can record clear audio in windy conditions. You can easily slide the windshield over your microphone. You receive a wind seal to cover unused sockets of the microphone. This way, you ensure that unwanted sound can't enter the microphone.

good quality, difficult to fit

cheap
difficult to get over the microphone

I had quite a bit of trouble attaching this deadcat to the Rode VideoMic GO II Helix. It didn't fit perfectly, so I pulled quite a bit of hair off the deadcat. So I wouldn't constantly remove it or swap it with the microphone's standard windscreen. Once it's on, it stays on for me, although it might get a bit easier after a few times.
