After my other Nutribullet wore out and started smoking, I ordered this new one. The first blend made an awful noise, a nasty high-pitched noise, and it smelled burnt. I expected this to go away after a few blends. Unfortunately I had to send it back. It is marked as low noise. It actually made an awful lot of noise, much more than its predecessor. I'm receiving another one, hoping it doesn't have the same defects. Otherwise it will be a different brand.
