If you really want to zoom in, take this one!

Great zoom feature!!!
Lightweight.
Can be used for many different types of photos.
Not suitable for moving images.

I am really very happy with this camera. Unfortunately, my previous copy broke after only a few years of use ('system error' which caused the zoom function to stop working), so I immediately bought a new one of the same. Very suitable for zooming in far and then, for example, getting animals in the picture nicely without disturbing them. Even without a tripod I can get the craters of the moon sharp in the picture, I find that really bizarre. It does take some practice / getting to know the camera to focus on the right thing and especially to keep still when zooming in far, but then you really have something. The colours and the distribution of light appear in the photo exactly as you see it in real life. When using the flash I hardly ever notice that it gets overexposed, which is also very nice.

Only downside: It says that it is suitable for sports photography. I disagree: moving things always become a smudge, even in sports mode.

All in all: super happy with it. Hopefully it will continue to exist or there will be a worthy successor, because then I will buy it again if this one unexpectedly breaks.
