I hesitated for a long time whether I should buy a Dyson stick vacuum cleaner for myself, having two cylinder vacuum cleaners at home, but I have not regretted it for a moment. WHAT a relief to grab your vacuum cleaner in one go and get started, without having to fight with the cord, the hose, the sockets, etc. The house is suddenly much cleaner, on the one hand because the Dyson V12 simply cleans the (PVC laminate, carpet, tiles and floor covering) floors much better than those other vacuum cleaners, on the other hand because you simply grab that thing quickly much more often.
What did make me hesitate for a long time was that there are many models where it is not always clear which accessories you get with them. Coolblue gave the best overview of them, but instead of, for example, the generic 'Combi brush' I would have preferred an explanation of exactly which Dyson brush was meant by that. And which model and which accessories are suitable for which type of floors was not very clear to me either. In the end I do most of the work with the standard 'fluffy?' rotating brush, and the cat hair from the couch with the screw-shaped anti-tangle brush. Tip for Coolblue: just explain what Dyson means by 'Advanced', 'Slim', 'Origin', 'Absolute', 'Detect', 'Fluffy', 'Submarine', and what the difference is between the Vzoveel models. Then I can choose what I need. I eventually chose the V12 Origin because I wanted to be sure that it has a HEPA filter and most of the supplied brushes.
The only thing that disappoints me a bit is that when emptying the dust container, a whole bunch of dust often gets stuck in the container, which I then have to pick out with my hand.
