I owned the (back then) Aftershokz OpenMove for years. I bought it at the time because I wanted to try out open-ear headphones but didn't want to pay top dollar. I got a lot of enjoyment out of it, using it daily until it was completely worn out. At some point, the back broke in two, and that was the end of it. Because I was so happy with it, I went for a slightly better model, because that was definitely worth the money to me now; I don't want to be without open-ear headphones anymore.

Still, it takes some getting used to these new Shokz OpenRuns, particularly the sound quality is a bit disappointing. I know you absolutely shouldn't expect miracles from this type of headphone, but that's not why I bought it. I mainly listen to podcasts and use it for making calls (works great when your ears aren't covered!).

Otherwise, nothing but advantages: a better fit than the OpenMove, especially if you are wearing a scarf in the winter or a high collar, for example; this one simply fits better around your head and the back isn't constantly being tapped.

The wearing comfort around your ears is also better. The longer battery life compared to the OpenMove is nice; I simply don't have to charge it as often, which is convenient.
