BaByliss Air Power Volume AS95E

What a fantastic blow-dry brush the Babyliss Air Power Volume AS95E is! My hair is medium-length and difficult to straighten with a regular blow-dryer and round brush – it easily takes me an hour and I still don't get the result I want.

With this Babyliss blow-dry brush, I'm done in 15 minutes, and the result is truly beautifully smooth and voluminous hair. I let my hair air-dry first, then divide it into three layers with a clip and work each layer into sections. The brush is a bit heavy, but because you use both hands (one to turn, one to hold), it's easy to do.

The brush head is oval instead of round, which is actually a great feature: by using the narrow part near the roots, you get just that little bit of extra volume. You wrap a section of hair around it, hold it for a moment, and you're done – smooth, shiny, and with a beautiful wave.

It takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you won't want anything else. I've tried expensive hairdryer brushes before (like Dyson), but they don't compare to this one, in my opinion. For this price, you really get top quality and fantastic results.

The curl/blowout doesn't last long and I have the feeling that the brush pulls a lot of hair out of my head.
