It empties itself into a bag in the base station, but because it is larger you do not have to empty it as often as vacuum cleaners that do not do this. However, the clean and dirty water tanks now have to be maintained. With a surface area of 80 m2, I think that has to be done every 3 days. However, we do it after every cleaning, because it is a piece of cake, and dirty water can develop unpleasant odors.
