There are certainly better and faster routers than this one, but for this price, it does have 3 bands (2.4, 5, and 6) and is therefore more future-proof. I do have the impression that this comes at a slight cost to range compared to a router with 2 bands (2.4 and 5). This isn't a problem here, as I've connected another router to it via Aimesh. Although I sometimes encounter stability issues in other online reviews, I haven't noticed any. It's been working flawlessly for over a week now with Asus-Merlin firmware.

Nice compact router. Easy to set up. Connection sometimes drops, especially in the evening. Time for firmware updates.

Fastest WiFi standard
Wireless BE (WiFi 7)Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our router expert
With WiFi 7, your devices always have the fastest WiFi connection.
The internet from a WiFi router can't be faster than the internet from your provider.
Thanks to 10 Gigabit Ethernet, you can use many devices at the same time without interruptions.
WiFi 7 only works with devices that support this WiFi standard.
One router doesn't give you enough coverage for a larger apartment or multiple floors.
