When I opened the box, I was immediately struck by how elegant the Moulinex Easy Fry Silence looks. This appliance is definitely a perfect fit for the countertop—even when I have guests, it looks neat and modern. After the first use, I was practically sold.

My baptism of fire was a whole chicken: after about an hour, it came out perfect—succulent, with crispy skin and that wonderful aroma you normally only find at a chicken stall. Pre-baked rolls were also ready quickly and had a nice, crispy crust. I tested bitterballen (Dutch croquettes) with the "extra crisp" function, and they certainly didn't disappoint: crispy on the outside, warm on the inside.

I also made meatballs and salmon—both were on the table in minutes and perfectly cooked. Fries with mussels? I now make those with the air fryer instead of the oven.
