Very cool thing, exactly what I was looking for. Fantastic that you can measure both the core temperature and the ambient temperature in the BBQ. Unpacking it is already a party. It took me a while to understand how it works and every time I was shocked because an alarm went off. Connection lost, only to find out that the charger must be nearby. Fortunately, it works anyway. Very happy with the purchase. However, there are a few drawbacks. You can only use the thermometer for larger pieces of meat, because it must be able to be inserted all the way into the meat up to the safety line. The internal sensor cannot withstand temperatures higher than 100 degrees. I also wanted to use it to measure the temperature in the BBQ when I grill smaller pieces of meat or other dishes. I'm going to try whether it works if I stick the thermometer in a potato, which I then place next to it.
