I tested the Eufy S340 Solo Cam. In this IP camera you will find the best features of Eufy's cameras. For example, a solar panel so you don't charge it or barely charge it, a wireless connection with or without Homebase 3 and a large viewing angle. And all without subscription costs.

As soon as I open the box I see the recognizable sleek Eufy camera. The solar panel is next to the camera. This is the best advantage of this camera package. You place the solar panel on top of the camera. Is your camera not hanging in the sun? There are also mounting materials included to hang it separately. This is a major advantage compared to other Eufy cameras where the solar panel is attached to the camera.

Connecting is easy. I followed the included manual. This is concise and clear. Initially, I connected the camera directly to WiFi. You do all this in the Eufy app. Because I already have a Homebase 3 at home, I then connected it to this base station.
