I think the Sony Bravia 3 4K LED (2025) is a great television for gamers. The TV displays realistic images thanks to its bright LED screen. Thanks to the PS Remote Play app, you can stream PlayStation 5 games remotely and play wherever you want.
Bright LED screen
One of the biggest advantages of the Bravia 3 is its LED screen. The TV has an edge-lit screen that's bright enough for well-lit bedrooms. This means I see very few reflections when I watch the TV. TVs with edge-lit local dimming only use LED lights behind the screen edge, which usually makes the image a bit less realistic in the center. I don't notice this with the Bravia 3. I find the entire screen just as bright and detailed. However, I do notice more reflections in dark scenes. I can clearly see the lights in our test room on the screen, for example, when I navigate to the Google TV menu.
Great second TV thanks to PS Remote Play
Thanks to the PS Remote Play app, I highly recommend the Bravia 3 for gamers. I use this app to play PlayStation 5 games remotely. This allows me to connect the Bravia 3 in our test room to the PlayStation 5 dozens of kilometers away in my own home. You do need a good internet connection for this. I notice that the picture sometimes stutters a bit, which isn't ideal for a demanding action game. Therefore, I recommend the Bravia 3 as a second screen. This way, you can continue playing in your bedroom, for example, where you left off in the living room.
Reliable design
The Bravia 3 has a luxurious look and feels sturdy at the same time. This is mainly due to the neat finish of the screen bezels. I can move the TV around without any worries. The Bravia 3 comes with two steel feet. I attach these quickly with a simple click system. I think this is a nice addition. The TV rests on sturdy feet that I can easily detach when necessary.
