With this King C. Gillette beard trimmer, I trim my beard very precisely thanks to the 40 length settings. After use, I easily clean the trimmer under the tap. I do have to charge the trimmer on time, though, because it takes quite a while to fully charge again.

Precise trimming The beard trimmer features a handy rotary dial. With this, I can easily set the trimming length using 40 settings. I choose lengths between 0.5 and 20 millimeters. This gives me a lot of control over how I trim my beard. I use the 2 included attachment combs for trimming. One comb is handy for when I trim my beard a bit shorter. With that comb, I trim up to a maximum of 10 millimeters. When I want to keep my beard a bit longer, I use the other comb. This trims between 10.5 and 20 millimeters. This allows me to easily switch between a short, sleek beard and a slightly longer beard.

Sharp blades While trimming, I notice that the blades are sharp. They easily shave through thick beard hairs. This makes trimming smooth. I also use the trimmer without the attachment combs. Without an attachment comb, I neatly touch up the contours of my beard. This allows me to create clean lines around my beard. The beard trimmer has a good grip. This allows me to hold the trimmer firmly and comfortably while trimming. However, I do find that the trimmer makes quite a lot of noise. So, I don't trim my beard very quietly in the morning.

Long battery life and easy cleaning I notice that the beard trimmer's battery lasts a long time. On a full charge, I can easily use the trimmer for several days and multiple trims. I do not charge it in between. When the battery is empty, it does take quite a long time to recharge. So, I do have to charge the trimmer on time so that it is ready for the next time. After trimming, I easily clean the trimmer under the tap. This way, I rinse away any remaining hairs.

Upon receipt, I attached the comb and the device was ready for use. I had hesitated when purchasing another device. So I was surprised to discover in the box that this device is made by Braun.

Shaves smoothly to the desired length. Great purchase. I really shouldn't have hesitated for so long.
