I first tested the Aerosteam on a T-shirt that had just come off the drying rack. The shirt was so wrinkled that I couldn't bring myself to wear it. After reading the short but clear instructions, I filled the water tank. A full tank lasts about 8 minutes. Then I plugged it in; luckily, the cord is more than long enough. The Aerosteam needs to preheat first, but this only takes about a minute. The clothes must be hung up to use the Aerosteam. You shouldn't hold the appliance horizontally. For me, this is a minor complaint. But given its dual function of drawing in air and emitting steam, it's not a major issue. Most of the wrinkles were gone within 3 minutes.
