Philips Sonicare 4100 Series HX4042/52 Black

I switched from a rotating brush to this Sonicare a month ago. I should have done this much sooner, because so far I see nothing but advantages.

The toothbrush feels solid and fits comfortably in the hand. No complicated settings, just turn it on and brush. A major plus is the battery life, which lasts about 3 weeks.

If you are used to making brushing movements, you can still do so with this brush. The brush also slows down when you brush too hard as a protection. Together with the different modes for brushing your teeth or gums, this toothbrush has everything I need, as far as I am concerned.

The most important thing, of course, is that my teeth get thoroughly clean and my gums do not become irritated. I therefore find the price-quality ratio to be very good.

I recently started using the Philips electric toothbrush and I think it is a really great toothbrush. The brush has a timer and stops automatically after 2 minutes of brushing. Additionally, the device indicates when the brush head needs to be replaced. The brush has a beautiful design. It looks nice in your bathroom, charges quickly, and cleans well. I immediately ordered another one for my partner.

The Philips toothbrush ecosystem has expanded considerably, so there is plenty of choice. This Sonicare comes with two standard brush heads that do their job well, but the model has a few extra features that I am really happy with. I have sensitive gums, and this brush has a massage mode. That feels very pleasant, and it switches to it automatically when the normal brushing time is over.

Philips recommends brushing on the strongest setting for the best results, and that setting is quite intense if you aren't used to it. To help you get used to it, the brush gradually builds up the speed to the highest setting. That works very well for me.

A full charge easily lasts longer than a week, even if two people use it. You charge it with the included charger, which also works on other Philips toothbrushes. Handy for holidays, because this way you can take multiple brushes with a single charger.

All in all, a very nice toothbrush.
