Better model
I am very satisfied with the purchase of this Canon i-SENSYS MF752Cdw. It is a powerful machine that does what it promises, although it excels just a little less in some specific areas.
Speed and scanning (Top class) The high-speed double-sided scanning and printing is truly excellent. This saves a huge amount of time with larger documents. Additionally, the OCR (optical character recognition) scan function is a very nice and handy option that works surprisingly well and accurately.
Print quality Printing images surprised me positively. Photos and images are displayed very beautifully with excellent color rendering. For a laser printer, this is really better than I had expected beforehand.
Network and connectivity The printer offers a huge number of options regarding network integration. However, keep in mind that some IT or network knowledge is required to set this up.
Cons • Wi-Fi reception: The Wi-Fi signal is on the weak side. My printer is located in a spot with a weak signal and struggles with it, whereas my smartphone has full reception in exactly the same place.
• Scanner resolution for photos: Although the scanner is perfect for documents and OCR, the scanner's resolution is a bit disappointing when you want to scan photos for serious photo editing.
Conclusion Are you looking for a fast printer with a high throughput speed, beautiful color reproduction, and many networking capabilities? Then this is highly recommended. However, do take the scanner resolution into account if you edit a lot of photos, and place it in a spot with a strong Wi-Fi signal.
