With the sync function, both drawers are ready at the same time. This way, you can put everything on the table at once. With the match function, you use the same settings in both drawers. That's useful when you make a large portion of 1 ingredient. With the grill rack, you create an extra level in the airfryer. This lets you prepare meat, vegetables, and potatoes at the same time.
