My fridge only has a small freezer compartment, so I need extra freezer space. I am testing this freezer, which gives me enough space for some pizzas, tilapia fillet, bittergarnituur and frozen fruit. The table model takes up little space and remains ice-free, so I never have to defrost the drawers. This saves me a lot of time and energy.
First impression
When I open the freezer, I only have to use a little force thanks to the lever handle. This makes opening and closing very smooth. I can also easily slide the 4 drawers in the freezer open and closed. These drawers are transparent, so I can see better where my mango cubes are. This way I know exactly what I still have in stock and I don't have to open every drawer every time. The interior lighting helps me a lot with this. When I get an ice cream in the dark in the evening, I have enough overview. The largest compartment only fits a few pizzas. That is enough for now. If I have more pizzas, I put them in the drawer below.
Display
When I press the start button for a few seconds, the display turns on. This takes a while. I find it handy that this is on the outside, because it makes it easy to adjust the temperature. This way I don't keep opening the door and no energy escapes. With the Liebherr SmartDevice app I connect the freezer to my smartphone via WiFi. This way I get a notification via my phone when the door doesn't close properly. I also get a warning if the door is open for too long.
No Frost
I had to defrost my old freezer a few times a year, but I actually never did that. I could barely open the drawers because they were full of ice. I don't have this problem with this freezer. Thanks to the No Frost technology, the drawers remain ice-free and I don't have to worry about it. This way no ice forms on my groceries and the label remains easy to read. I can now see better until when my frozen raspberries will keep.
Little noise
Another advantage is that the freezer makes very little noise. Only when connecting and freezing do I hear a bit more noise temporarily. When the freezer is nice and cold, I hardly hear it anymore. Handy, because I can also put it in my open kitchen. This is easy thanks to the compact size of the table model. With a height of 85 centimetres and a width of 60 centimetres, it takes up relatively little space. I notice that I am very enthusiastic about the freezer and absolutely recommend it.
